FlexMail is a unique application that shows email both for Pocket Outlook originating email such as ActiveSync, SMS and Hotmail as well as its own native database stores for IMAP and POP3.
The Today plugin or Homescreen for Windows Mobile devices only knows about its own database formats. It has no way of being able to read or notify about non-Pocket Outlook accounts.
FlexMail 4.0 contains a Today and Homescreen plugin that you can turn on. For Pocket PC users this is done by going to Start->Settings->Today and then choosing Items. For Smartphone users open FlexMail and go into General Settings. Turn on the homescreen plugin and follow the prompts.
FlexMail 2007 does not contain a Today/Homescreen plugin.
Today/Home Screen does not show new email for FlexMail
