If you are using IMAP IDLE and the TyTN II you may want to disable IDLE.
Windows Mobile 5 and 6 have the ability for an application like Messaging or FlexMail to connect to the internet and mark a connection as "stay-alive". This tells Windows Mobile to keep the network connection alive even when the device is asleep. It will then wake up whenever the other side sends more data to the device.
On all devices we have tested and had tested - except the TyTN II - this works properly and the device can go to sleep with no troubles. The TyTN II (and possibly the AT&T Tilt though we have not had reports on it) seems to have an error in its network driver that does not properly handle this power down scenario.
Until HTC comes out with a ROM patch you may need to turn off IDLE support.
