We've sold versions of our software with bundles such as Pocket Informant/Calligrapher bundles. In these bundles Pocket Informant does not use its own serial number but instead a special bundle serial number.

Typically these are not in our system and may be cause headaches for upgrades. Just give the user a new key via our system. Make sure to edit the key afterwards for the original user's purchase date.
